On the 5th of November, iCare2 partners convened in Brussels and online for the second partners meeting of the iCare2 Project to review progress and plan the next stages of the project.
Partners refined final details for the Train the Trainer event, taking place on the 6th and 7th of November in Brussels, reviewed communication progress, and discussed the project’s core deliverables, including the national reports of Bulgaria, Italy, France, and Poland and the iCare2 national methodologies for international family mediation were also discussed.
Lastly, initial insights from the recently established pre-mediation desks, which serve as first points of contact for families seeking information and support in cross-border family disputes, in all partner countries, were shared. The partners reported about the cross-border family cases they have supported and shared observations on how families are engaging with the new pre-mediation desks.
Next steps include coordinating national-level activities, with events and webinars planned in each partner country to raise awareness of cross-border family mediation, share project results, and support the use of iCare2 tools and services. More information will be shared soon on our channels.
