Project Description
The iCare2 project is a continuation of the previous iCare project (GA 101007436), which ran from November 2020 to October 2022. Building on the outcomes of the iCare project, iCare2 aims to address the new challenges arising from the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2019/1111, focusing on improving judicial cooperation and promoting alternative dispute resolution in cross-border family matters, particularly those related to international child abduction and parental responsibility. By leveraging the tools and methodologies developed in the earlier project, such as the iCare online platform, chatbot, and family mediation guidelines, iCare2 seeks to enhance the capacity of judicial actors and support families in resolving conflicts in a child-cantered and gender-sensitive manner.
